Your answers never reach us

Everything you type into the helpers stays in your browser's own storage on your device. We don't see it, store it or send it anywhere. It only leaves your device if you save it to a file, send it to yourself, or print it. Deleting your browser data, or tapping Start again, removes it.

No accounts, cookies or ads

We set no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and which steps people reach. It sets no cookies, doesn't identify you or follow you to other sites, and never sees your answers. It records things like the page, the site you came from, your browser and your country.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages and steps people use, so we can improve the site.

If you pay

Stripe takes the payment. Stripe holds your name, email, card details and billing country. We never see your card. We use Stripe's record to unlock your pack, to recover it if you lose it, to give refunds, and for our tax records.

  • Lawful basis: to perform our contract with you, and a legal obligation (tax).
  • We keep payment records for 6 years, because the law requires it.

Recover my pack

We check the email and receipt number you type against Stripe's record, and don't store them. To stop people guessing, we count attempts from each connection (IP address) for one hour, then the count is deleted.

If you email us

Our email is hosted by Google Workspace. We use your email only to reply to you and to handle refunds. We delete support emails after 12 months, unless we need them for a refund or our tax records. Please don't send us health details. We don't need them to help you.

Our hosting

Cloudflare serves this website. Like any web host, it briefly logs technical details such as your IP address, for security.

Who else processes data for us

Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Cloudflare Web Analytics (counting visits), Google (email), Tally (research study answers – see below). Some of them may process data outside the UK, under the UK's approved safeguards.

Research studies

Sometimes we invite people through Prolific, a research website, to try this site and answer some questions about it.

Your answers are collected in Tally, a form service. Tally stores them in the EU. They are linked only to your Prolific ID – never your name or contact details.

Some questions are about health or benefits. The law calls this special category data, so we ask for your explicit consent before you start.

We use your answers only to improve the site. We delete them within 3 months.

To ask us to delete your answers, message us through Prolific. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk.

The data controller is N84 Labs (ICO registration number ZC256647).
