The difference detail makes

An invented example. The helper wrote it from invented answers.

What people often write

“She needs a bit of help with washing.”

True, but it doesn't say what happens, how often, or what help is needed.

What the helper helps you say

Last month she slipped getting out of the bath and could not get up for 20 minutes. She finds it hard and needs help to get in and out of the bath (twice a day). This is because of weak legs and poor balance. Help usually takes 30 minutes or more each time. Without help, she could fall.

Built only from what you tick and type.

Questions people ask

Is this the government's form?

No. We are independent. We help you fill in the official form, which is free from GOV.UK. You post it yourself.

Can you guarantee approval?

No, and nobody honestly can. DWP decides. We help you describe the help fully, and give you a letter to use if it is refused.

Where do my answers go?

Nowhere. They stay in your browser. Save them to a file if you want to keep them.

They live in Scotland.

Scotland uses Pension Age Disability Payment, a different form. This helper is for England and Wales for now.
